Create or schedule a livestream

You can start a livestream now or schedule it for later.

Schedule a livestream

1. Open the live creation flow.
2. Choose Schedule.
3. Add the date, time, thumbnail, audience/access setting, and chapter.
4. Review the event details.
5. Save the scheduled live.

Upcoming lives appear in Discover in nearest-date order. Completed lives appear in the channel's Live tab when saved successfully.

Go live now

1. Open the live creation flow for My Lives from the side menu or from the post creation process.
2. Choose Go Live.
3. Confirm the camera and microphone.
4. Complete the three-second countdown: 3, 2, 1, Go Live.
5. Start the stream.
6. End the stream using the visible creator control.

Before you start

Check your camera, microphone, connection, audience setting, thumbnail, chapter, and whether the event should be free or paid.
